INGREDIENTS

- 1.5 lbs chicken breast, boneless, skinless, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Naan bread, for servin
STEPS
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, garam masala, cumin, paprika, and salt.
- Add cubed chicken to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden.
- Remove chicken from marinade and add to the pan. Cook until lightly charred on all sides.
- Stir in tomato puree and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes.
- Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream; simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
- Serve hot with warm garlic naan for dipping!
